AS3D Technical details

Active Stereo single Chip DLP Projector. AS3D has one optical System, with one Lamp. This provides correctly aligned Images. Both images appear on one DLP Chip, thus rendered with the same Colors, Brightness and Geometry. Perfect for Stereoscopy. The DLP Chip, called DMD, is fast enough to display 120 differerent images per second. The DLP technology provides instant change of the images without ghosting or any delay.

For highest Data throughput, AS3D is equipped with two image generation pipelines working in parallel delivering a frame throughput of 2x60Hz at full resolution.

Inputs
AS3D stereoscopic projector provides inputs for active and passive sources.

Two analog VGA Inputs are capable of receiving images with a resolution of 1400x1050@120Hz, to be connected to an active stereo source.
A Mini Din connector at the side of the projector can be used for the fram capture synchronisation.

Alternatively two DVI-I Connectors can accept two Images of a resolution with 1400x1050@60Hz, driven by a dual head graphic board, or by two different PC's for maximized performance.

AS3D has two BNC connectors at the back for frame synchronisation of the resulting images. These connectors are used to genlock multiple AS3D units and drive Infrared Glasses*.

Build in Infrafred Emitter
AS3D comes with an internal Infrared emitter to support a smaller and medium audiences with Infrared signals suitable for various shutter glasses and White light driven IR Glasses. An external IR Emitter maybe used for a bigger audience and can be connected to the BNC Sync Out connector.

* This option may not be available at all versions of AS3D
